The Liberty Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing to review the application submitted by Gregory Sprowl appealing the Planning Board’s denial of an after the fact permit for the residential solar panel installation located at 152 Mary Ordway Road, Map 6 Lot 6A. The application is available for public review at the Town Office during regular business hours.

What does the Board do?
Interprets the provisions of any applicable town ordinance which are called into question.
Considers the issuance of a special exception permit or conditional use permit in strict compliance with any applicable town ordinance.
Considers granting variances where strict application of an ordinance would cause undue hardship.
Hears and determines appeals with respect to licenses, permits, variances or other required approvals, rendered by the Code Enforcement Officer or the Planning Board pursuant to Shoreland Zoning Ordinance;
How often does it meet?
The regular meeting of the Board shall be either held once every other month or as necessary.
